Sundus Talpur’s jewellery combines her Pakistani heritage with design skills honed in London. Her newest range is inspired by ancient textiles and made in solid silver. This pendant is cast using fabrics; the warp and weft of the cloth clearly visible in the texture of the final piece. The result is ambiguous and eye-catching; the face could be a half-forgotten deity or a crumbling portrait of a king or queen; its calm, impassive expression lets the wearer imprint their own story. Matching ring available. Designed and hand-made in Karachi.
