Pandas are slow, tranquil animals that embody safety and determination, as well as being a symbol of China. This one is artfully carved from a single tagua nut, which comes from a palm in the South American jungle and is also known as ‘vegetable ivory’. Handmade by Ronald in Sosate, Ecuador, this piece is not only ethical, but also delightful. Who could resist this little black-and-white fellow?
